Notice: 2023 Campground Site # Changes

Campsite numbers at three campgrounds (Mendota, Token, and WG Lunney Lake Farm) have changed beginning 2023. Maps of the previous and current numbers are available on our Campground Maps webpage. Please check your desired site number before making a 2023 reservation.

Experience the night in nature at one of the campsites in Dane County Parks. Opportunities include individual campsites that can be reserved for tents, campers, and RVs and group campsites that can be reserved by larger groups of campers for tent camping. Reservations are required. Individual campsite reservations include a complimentary daily dog permit good for the duration of your stay.

Individual Campsites

Mendota County Park

Dane County offers campsites at five different parks. Each campground offers an accessible site and electric sites. Campsite check-in time is 3:00 p.m. / check-out time is no later than 2:00 p.m.

There is a maximum of six individuals and two camping units (two tents or one RV and one tent) allowed per campsite.

Group Campsites

Group Camp Tents at W.G. Lunney Lake Farm County Park Campground

WG Lunney Lake Farm County Park

Group campsites are larger, rustic (vault/pit toilets and water) areas where a larger group of campers may camp together. Group campsites are popular with youth groups and family/friend events and intended for tent camping only. Campsite check-in time is 3:00 p.m. / check-out time is no later than 2:00 p.m.
