Snowmobile Trails

For snowmobile trails to be open there must be at least 6 inches of snow with steady below freezing temperatures and all Dane County and WDNR agreements must be in place.

Silverwood County Park Sweet/Rice Lake Access Parking Lot (Hwy 106) is CLOSED due to flooding.
Equestrian trails are CLOSED for the season.
Disc Golf Courses are CLOSED for the season.
Lake Access Piers have been REMOVED for the season.

Winter Recreation

Cross-country Skiing:  visit our Cross-country Ski webpage for Dane County cross-country ski trail maps and additional resources. 
Mountain Biking:  current Mountain Bike trail conditions can be found at
Sledding:  available at Indian Lake County Park, Lake View Hill Park and CamRock County Park.
Snowmobiling:  State Wisconsin DNR Snowmobile Trail Pass is required to ride on the trail system.  Snowmobilers must remain on designated marked trails and should be cautious near area lakes and streams.
