The Dane County Park System has four parks with public sledding hills. We do not have rentals or warming houses. For your safety, and to uphold the quality of our landscapes, please do not use the sledding hills without sufficient snow base.
There is no parking fee or permit required for visiting a county park to explore on foot or go sledding. If you explore other areas of the park, please remember that snowshoeing, winter hiking, and dogs are NOT allowed on groomed cross-country ski trails.
Access: To get to the sledding hill, enter at Shelter 3 entrance and you’ll see it in front of the shelter a short walk from the parking lot.
