Mushroom Log Inoculation Workshop at Silverwood County Park

Join Friends of Silverwood Park and Misty Dawn Farm for their first ever Mushroom Log Inoculation Workshop! Participants will learn how to inoculate and care for shiitake logs and inoculate their own logs to add to their garden. Sale of shiitake logs will go to help fund management and educational programs at the park. Logs were harvested this winter from the Silverwood Park forest as part of their forest restoration program.

• The cost per logs will be $15 for one log or $20 for two.
• Or you can pre-order already inoculated logs for pick up. Deadline to preorder is April 5 (day before the workshop). Pre-inoculated logs must be pre-ordered and cost $25 for one or $40 for two (interested in more? We can quote you a volume price). Pre-inoculated logs must can be picked up between 12 – 1 pm the day of the workshop.
• A few “totem logs” are also available at $30 dollars a log
