Lil' Explorers

Our Lil’ Explorers program is the perfect space to foster your preschooler’s sense of wonder. Join us at the Lussier Family Heritage Center to marvel at the natural world that is all around us! These $5 programs will provide a space for young kids to use all five senses, be active in the outdoors and learn how to work together. Each session we will investigate a new theme through games, walks, crafts, stories and so much more! The one-hour guided program will be followed by 30 minutes of youth-led free play with friends through our natural play area and jungle gym.

Topic of Exploration: 

Join us in the woods and across the prairie for an exploration of textures. After exploring our sensory garden and determining if things are natural or man-made, we will use only our sense of touch to identify different objects hidden from view. From soft and smooth to rough and spiky, the natural world has it all.
